The Eibseebahn is built according to the double-support and Zugseilsystem. The plant is built in 1962 by Heckel. When she was finished, heckel is already merged with Pohlig and Bleichert. Therefore, the PHB signs came off. The lane of the system goes to the mountain apart to go. This design has several reasons. Among other things, the lack of space at the top. Consequently, the platforms are apart in the hill station. In its follow the two cars do not stop at the same point. In the valley station, it is clear to see. Normally, this distance is bridged by a final buffer. When Eibseebahn the way, however, is too large. |
