The first ropeway in Peru. The ropeway connects the Kuélap Fortress (pre-Inca archaeological center of the Chachapoyas culture) with the town of Nuevo Tingo in the jungle. It crosses 60 m above the Tingo River and covers a total distance of 4 kilometers, which will be traveled in approximately 20 minutes and with a capacity of 8 passengers per cable car. |
